Whitaker Laboratory is a five-story structure with an adjoining two-level classroom-auditorium section that serves the Materials Science and Engineering Department and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Whitaker houses laboratories for high-pressure research and reaction kinetics, nuclear studies, analog computation, process control, optoelectronics, high-temperature thermodynamics and kinetics and fine structures and metallography.
